Last night's event
It’s been ages and ages since I’ve written anything of substance here but last night I went to a great event and just have to tell you about it!
FIC, Family Institute of Connecticut, had a fundraising dinner with former Senator Rick Santorum as the speaker. Senator Santorum gave one of the most moving testimonies that I have ever heard. What a great man of faith!
For this reason alone, he will never gain the Republican nomination for President, but it really put some wind in the sail to know that there are real people like him, serious about politics. Perhaps the future is not so bleak after all.
A special thank you to FIC Executive Director, Peter Wolfgang, his wonderful wife Leslie, and the FIC Chief Operating Officer, Larry Taffner for all of the hard work they do defending marriage and the family in CT.
May God bless all the work you do in his name!
